JU Science Club celebrates founding anniversary

Jahangirnagar University Science Club (JUSC) celebrated its 15th founding anniversary on Saturday afternoon on the university campus.

JUSC advisors Professor Abdur Rab and Associate Professor Sharif Hossain cut the cake to mark the program along with its current and former members at Teacher-Student Centre on Jahangirnagar University campus.

Around 50 members of the organization took part in the celebration where JUSC President Shariful Islam, Secretary Golam Rabbani, and Former President Rashedul Islam Raj were present, among others.

Mentionable, Jahangirnagar University Science Club was established on 17 august 2005 under the banner of ‘Biggan Mukul’ and later in 2014 it was rebranded as the current name.

The organization has achieved the membership of National Science and Technology Museum recently for its outstanding performance in promoting science and technology on JU campus along with in the global arena.

They produce their calendar year organizing different types of social and skill development programs include, National Math Olympiad, National Science Festival, Science Book Fair, and numerous number of skill development programs and competition round the year.
